In a significant move to strengthen Indonesia's artificial intelligence landscape, Lintasarta, a subsidiary of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (IOH), has officially launched Semesta AI, a pioneering program aimed at accelerating the growth of AI-based startups in the country. Announced on July 24, 2025, this initiative marks a concrete step toward building a robust national AI ecosystem.
Semesta AI, supported by NVIDIA through its global Inception program, offers selected startups access to cutting-edge AI infrastructure, educational resources, and mentorship. This collaboration aims to empower local innovators to develop solutions that address Indonesia-specific challenges while fostering technological sovereignty.
As part of the program, Lintasarta has shortlisted 50 promising startups for the 2025 cohort, with 20 advancing to the pilot project phase. These startups will receive hands-on support to refine their products and scale their impact within the Indonesian market.
